Alexis Whelan serves as Corporate Controller for Defender Safety. In this role, Whelan is responsible for all accounting-related activities, including high-level accounting, managerial accounting, financial activities, and payroll. She joined Defender Safety’s leadership team in 2018 and has been instrumental to the financial health and well-being of the company. Whelan has put multiple processes in place to support the daily transactional aspects of the company, therefore allowing the leadership team better visibility of overseeing the company’s holistic performance.
Strong ethics, standards, attention to detail, and good listening skills are just a few key attributes that describe Alexis. These attributes are appreciated by her team, associates, and customers. Whelan is a graduate of The College of Holy Cross and previously owned her own safety supply company “Island Safety Products”
